TS-Optics M54 to M48 rotation and quick coupling with only 8 mm length

This adapter is a real problem solver from Teleskop Service for all astrophotographers. The adapter offers a quick coupling and 360 rotation with the shortest overall length. At the same time the adapter is a reduction from M54 to M48. Grip knurled screws also allow operation with gloves.
The rotation adapter consists of 2 parts. The inner, tapered part connects to the telescope via the M54x0.75 thread. The opposite part is clamped with three screws and connects to the camera.

The advantages of the TSM48ROT adapter:

♦ Only 8mm optically effective overall length - ideal for short length adaptations.
♦ Perfect centering - the inner adapter ring is always exactly in the center - due to the clamping it centers itself.
♦ Thanks to generously dimensioned wall thicknesses and long threads, even heavy accessories can be mounted safely.

The application areas of the TSM48ROT adapter:

♦ Quick Coupling: You can remove the camera within seconds, for example, to clean the sensor from dust. Accidental unscrewing is prevented, and cables cannot get tangled.
♦ 360 Rotation: You can rotate the camera 360 to achieve optimal positioning of the target object on the camera sensor.
♦ Improved guide star search with off-axis guider: If you screw the TSROTM48 in front of the off-axis guider, you can rotate the guider and have a larger field available for finding a bright guide star.

Practical tip:

If you separate camera and telescope, for example because you want to use a different camera or telescope, one opening remains open. To prevent dust from entering, you can simply fit the corresponding counterpart of a second TSROTM54-M48 with a matching cover (currently only for M48, linked in the accessories section) and use it as a cover for the opening.
